In 87 we are invited by AR.CO, an Art School in Lisbon, to start the Ceramics Dpt. at its new campus.

We build a step kiln in 9 days, the first of its kind in Portugal, with the help of the initial 30 students, and again with their collaboration mount the studio from scratch.

In a year and a half the second generation of teachers arises from the first group of students.

The Department promotes frequent workshops with artists of various backgrounds and nationalities.
